This is my last blog essay in Cambridge.

Suddenly,I have been in Cambridge for 36 weeks (about 8 months).But I can remember my first day in England and my first homestay.

I have had a fantastic time living in England, especially in Cambridge. I've learned a lot here, not just English, I've got to know something about English life, English problems. I've travelled around England and to Scotland, Wales, Germany, Paris, Amsterdam. I know I have the capability of travelling by myself now, because I could visit Wales and Germany alone, but I didn't know that before.

I don't know if I've became more mature in my life of Cambridge or not, but I hope so.


On the other hand, even if I have been in Cambridgi for a long time, my English is still not good. I can just speak in simple sentences, but although they are simple, I can't speak fluently.

I can't learn vocabulary well either.I have looked some words up many times, but I can't remember them. Usually I know I just looked the vocabulary up yesterday, but even though I remrembered I have done it, I couldn't remember the meaning of the word. And then, I would get angry with myself. If you knew something you have already done over 10 times and it wasn't successful , you would be angry.

I have told myself I'm old, so my memory is becoming bad that results in my learning badly, but actually I know I was just idle and didn't study hard enough.


However, my English is much better than before I came to Cambridge.I don't regret running out of money to come to the UK.

I hope I won't forget my life of Cambridge, when I go back to the routine working and live everyday alike, I will remrember the River Cam which is the soul of Cambridge, the beautiful colleges, and I have had the experience of unique life in Cambridge which is a little boring and a lovely small town.
